  • Sunshine Yoga for Kids offers children’s yoga classes in Discovery Bay at a range of local venues, including the North Plaza, South Plaza, and selected outdoor spaces.

The confirmed location for each kids yoga class will be provided in your booking confirmation email, so you’ll always know exactly where to go.

  • Yes. Our 5 and 10 class passes may be shared between siblings within the same household. All bookings should be made using the same parent or caregiver account.

  • No, unless otherwise stated when booking a class, your child does not need to bring their own mat but they are more than welcome to.

  • Children are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely and get a little warm—think leggings, shorts, t-shirts, or anything they feel relaxed in. Classes are practiced barefoot to help with balance and body awareness. If your child prefers to wear socks, please make sure they have non-slip grips on the bottom for safety.

If this is your child’s first class, please know there’s no need to worry—there’s no “right” outfit. As long as your child feels comfortable and confident, they’ll be perfectly prepared to join in.

  • Your child should bring a filled water bottle to stay hydrated. They are also welcome to bring a small, soft toy if they’d like to use it during breathing or relaxation activities.

  • For most classes, we kindly ask parents and caregivers to say goodbye at the door and return at the end of the session. This helps children settle more easily, build independence, and fully engage in the class experience.

For our Little Rays class (ages 2–4), one adult is invited to participate alongside their child, as these sessions are designed as a shared, parent-child experience.

If this is your child’s first class and you have any concerns, please feel free to speak with us beforehand — we are always happy to help ensure a smooth and positive transition.

  • Each class is an hour long.

  • Every class is a little different and thoughtfully designed to keep things fun, engaging, and age-appropriate. Children can expect a mix of playful yoga poses, calming breathing exercises, creative activities such as Neuro Art, group games, music, and moments of mindfulness. We may explore gentle meditation, positive affirmations, partner or team activities, and relaxation exercises — all woven together to help children move, connect, and unwind in a supportive and joyful space.

  • Absolutely. Sunshine Yoga for Kids is a welcoming and inclusive environment. We believe yoga and mindfulness should be accessible to all children. Our classes are gentle, flexible, and designed to support different abilities.
To help ensure your child feels safe and supported, we ask that you contact us before booking so we can chat about their needs. In some cases, we may ask that a parent or caregiver remain present to support participation.

  • Your child’s safety is our top priority. If a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, Red Rainstorm, or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, all classes will be cancelled for that period.

If weather conditions change close to class time, we will assess the situation carefully and notify parents as early as possible via WhatsApp and/or email.

    • Cancelled classes due to inclement weather will not be counted as used and can be credited or rescheduled where possible.

    • If a warning is lowered before class time, we will confirm whether the class will go ahead.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we always encourage families to use their own judgement when it comes to travel and weather conditions.

  • We keep our classes intentionally small so every child feels seen and supported.

    • Ages 5–12: up to 9 children per class

    • Ages 2–4: up to 6 children, each joined by one adult.
